Weekly BookTube Video Roundup – March 8-14, 2021

Hiya everyone! Hope you’re doing well and are keeping safe and happy!

Today’s blog post is my weekly roundup of all the videos I’ve posted to my BookTube channel this past week. It didn’t all go to plan because there were a number of factors that weighed in and made me move around videos and posts and what not. But I did manage to upload 3 videos this week, as against the 4 that I had planned. And that’s not bad. At least that’s what I’m telling myself. XD

Before I talk about these videos, a quick reminder to subscribe to my channel if you’d like to stay updated with my video content on BookTube. Here’s the link: The Melodramatic Bookworm.

Plus, if you’re interested in buying any of the books that I’ve mentioned in these videos, go to the description boxes and click on my Amazon Affiliate links mentioned there. It would help me a lot! 🙂

Also, if you’d like to make a donation and support me, my PayPal is: https://paypal.me/melodramaticbookworm . Thank you in advance if you decide to do it. 🙂

So those were necessary parts of my intro. Let’s dive right in to last week’s video line-up! 🙂

#1 – 10 Women Authors I’m Really Excited to Read This Year

Date Posted: 8 March, 2021

This was for International Women’s Day and I had thought that I’d post this and then another video on Tuesday. But this took up all of my energies and Tuesday ended up empty. 😛

I wanted to do something for Women’s Day and since I’m a huge fan of making TBRs – never mind that I don’t stick to them most times – I thought why not make a TBR of women authors? And that’s exactly what I did.

#2 – The Anti-TBR Tag

Date Posted: 11 March, 2021

I’m going to be honest with you, I got lazy here. XD

I had intended this video to go up in two weeks but there was so much crap going on and my mind wasn’t in the right place. So I pulled it back and posted it on 11th March. It is basically a tag video where I answer questions related to books, authors, and genres I have no intention of reading. I-don’t-want-to-read, like the exact opposite of a to be read.

#3 – Subscriber Pick – February 2021: I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou

Date Posted: 13 March, 2021

I should have got done with this in the first week of March but I couldn’t. And since this is a woman author, I feel like bringing this book into March wasn’t a bad idea, even if it wasn’t completely in my control.

This is a series that I do on my channel where I ask subscribers to pick a book every month and I then do a reading vlog + book review for it. This is the fifth episode of this series and I’m pretty happy with how this video turned out. Although YouTube made me super anxious by running checks for hours without any resolution. God knows what is up in its mind!

Did you like any of the videos that I posted last week? Do you like these weekly roundups that I have going? Should I keep doing them? Let me know in the comments!

I’ll be back soon with more blog posts.

Until next time, keep reading and add melodrama to your life! 😀
