I don’t think I can say this enough but Jeffrey Archer is one of my favorite, favorite authors of all time. His writing is simple, easy, witty, and has a number of twists that always make me go “WOW!” I’ve always held his works in awe and his latest series, the William Warwick series is going the same way. The first book, Nothing Ventured, came out in 2019, and the second book, Hidden in Plain Sight, came out last year. And now, it’s the announcement for the third book that has me going all, “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”
The third book, Turn a Blind Eye is all set for release this April and I cannot wait to get my hands on it. Here are 3 things you need to know about this series before you scroll down to the cover:
- This series follows the story of William Warwick, who rises through the ranks of the British Police after starting out as a detective.
- William Warwick, a fictional fictional character (too deep, I say), is the protagonist in Harry Clifton’s books in the Clifton Chronicles.
- Turn a Blind Eye is the third in the William Warwick series, AND I KNOW WHY THE BOOK IS NAMED THIS!
I read Hidden in Plain Sight earlier this year and oh boy, that cliffhanger was to die for! Jeffrey Archer does this every single time!
Here’s the cover for the newest in this series. Cannot wait for April to roll around and for me to get my hands on this book! Yahahahahaaayyy!
JEFFREY ARCHER is back!
TURN A BLIND EYE is the third instalment in the gripping story of Detective Inspector William Warwick
Turn A Blind Eye
William Warwick, now a Detective Inspector, is tasked with a dangerous new line of work, to go undercover and expose crime of another kind: corruption at the heart of the Metropolitan Police Force. His team is focused on following Detective Jerry Summers, a young officer whose lifestyle appears to exceed his income. But as a personal relationship develops with a member of William’s team, it threatens to compromise the whole investigation.
Meanwhile, a notorious drug baron goes on trial, with the prosecution case led by William’s father and sister. And William’s wife Beth, now a mother to twins, renews an old acquaintance who appears to have turned over a new leaf, or has she?
As the undercover officers start to draw the threads together, William realizes that the corruption may go deeper still, and more of his colleagues than he first thought might be willing to turn a blind eye.
