There are millions of books in the world, published day in, day out. It is hard to read every one of them in the limited lifespan that we have. But the pro of having so many books is that you never run out of books to read. There is always that one book that you have to read. It’s right there on your book list and you can’t wait to get your hands on it. Once you’re done with it, another one mysteriously emerges and thus, the cycle goes on and on.
So my intention of writing this blog post was to shower myself with a little love on a public platform. I’m not the kind of person to hype myself up, but I figured, why not talk about the videos that I enjoyed making instead? It does take a lot of effort so I might as well use up the residual energy and share some introspective love. 😀
I don’t believe in divine intervention by a large margin. If that were the case, things would have been very, very different for me by now. But what I do believe is the effect of déjà vu on the human psyche. The feeling that things have happened before – that you’ve been here before and done it all.
Okay, so where did the year go? Seriously? It’s October already and I’m freaking out and I don’t know why! And I’m a little late but here I am with the October 2019 edition of the Books Releasing This Month That I’m Excited About but Probably Won’t Read Anytime Soon. Because it’s true. Books on my TBR are glaring at me right now so let’s just get on with this. 😛
First off, I was so excited to start reading this book. I’d been waiting for it for so long that I cannot even explain how happy it made me feel to hold it and start reading. It feels surreal actually. And secondly, A Man Called Ove was part of my list of 10 Books That I Hope to Read in 2018. I can’t believe I actually finished reading it. But I do know this: Picking A Man Called Ove and reading it is one of the best decisions I made in my life.
