I’ve only read a few books about food and I cherish them to no end. One of the major reasons is that I’m not a good cook at all. I have no aptitude for cooking, which is exacerbated by the fact that I can’t smell. My anosmia takes away half the attraction that cooking might hold. It also increases my admiration and awe for the people who can cook.
So when books like this release, they make my vicarious excitement bubble up and flow over in a way that I can’t really explain. Here’s the cover to The Taste of My Life, a memoir of one of India’s most celebrated food writers, Chitrita Banerji, which looks ABSOLUTELY delicious, if you ask me!
I don’t think I can say this enough but Jeffrey Archer is one of my favorite, favorite authors of all time. His writing is simple, easy, witty, and has a number of twists that always make me go “WOW!” I’ve always held his works in awe and his latest series, the William Warwick series is going the same way. The first book, Nothing Ventured, came out in 2019, and the second book, Hidden in Plain Sight, came out last year. And now, it’s the announcement for the third book that has me going all, “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”
2020 has been a shite year so far and the coming of October means we are one month closer to the end of the year. This little fact makes so abundantly happy that I just want to sit back and watch it go by while chanting, “Go, 2020, go!” But that’s not to be because I’m not someone who can do that. I NEED to be reading, working, filming, editing, uploading, engaging, sharing, and everything under the sun that I can actually do instead of being a lazy slob.
In a world that is going through so much at a time – let’s all agree that 2020 is one big dumpster fire – we all need love, friendship, and compassion. I don’t even want to talk about the callousness that is rampant in the world today. But I do want to talk about this new novel that’s scheduled for release on September 21, that looks and sounds so beautiful and talks about love and friendship in a world divided.
I know that it’s been a while since I’ve been regular on here, but I fully intend to stay regular with my posts this time. I also know that I’ve said this before but this time, I’m coming in all guns blazing. I posted a book review a few days ago and yesterday, posted an old, random thought. Here’s to new beginnings sprouting from old worlds!
If you’re someone who is a fan of books that delve deep into the realm of self discovery, science, spirituality, and psychology, then here’s a book that would be perfect for you! Pan Macmillan India will soon be publishing Breathe Believe Balance by Shyamal Vallabhjee that will give you an insight into it all, to help to stay motivated during these trying times!
I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again: Jeffrey Archer is one of my favorite authors of all time! And to see his books coming hot out of the press, it feels like he’s writing just for me. If an author manages to make that level of connection with their readers, then they obviously have to be among the best. And Jeffrey Archer is one such! He brings in unexpected twists, shocks and surprises you, makes you laugh, makes you swear, makes you cry, but no matter what, you’ll fall in love with his writing!
Okay, so where did the year go? Seriously? It’s October already and I’m freaking out and I don’t know why! And I’m a little late but here I am with the October 2019 edition of the Books Releasing This Month That I’m Excited About but Probably Won’t Read Anytime Soon. Because it’s true. Books on my TBR are glaring at me right now so let’s just get on with this. 😛
Hello everyone! I’m here today with the September 2019 edition of Books Releasing This Month That I’m Excited About but Probably Won’t Read Anytime Soon. I had to skip August because I was basically a zombie walking around, so much happening around me that I wasn’t in my head at all. But I’m back now, and as way of return, here are 11 books releasing this month that have really piqued my interest.
Jeffrey Archer is one of my favorite authors of all time and his Clifton Chronicles is one of my favorite series. And this September, 5th to be precise, Jeffrey Archer’s new book, Nothing Ventured releases.
