2022 has had a pretty meh start in terms of life in itself, while my reading has been going great. I’ve finished 2 books so far, both cracklingly amazing! But 2021 had some damp squibs and some that I just couldn’t get through. In today’s blog post, I will be talking about the books I DNFed (Did Not Finish) and the books that I found to be the strangest. This second section doesn’t necessarily mean the books are bad. They were just weird as hell!

My Most Anticipated Book Releases of 2022!
Hello hello! Welcome to a new blog post where I gush about 15 books releasing in 2022 that I am super excited about. Some of my favorite authors are coming out with new books and I cannot wait for them to be out in this world, to get my hands on them, and to read them. I did this last year as well, as a video, although I cannot for the life of me remember if I did a blog post. But my most Anticipated Book Releases of 2022 list has some absolutely smashing, cracking upcoming books that seem out of this world!
November 2021 Wrap Up – Part 2
Hello hello! I’m here today with the second part of my November 2021 wrap up. There was a small delay because I went on a vacation (a hectic pilgrimage of sorts, more like) and wasn’t able to keep updating the blog. I had posted the first part a few days ago and even the video for my November 2021 wrap up is now live on my YouTube channel. I had contemplated not writing this blog post but I didn’t like the thought of leaving it unfinished. So here I am!
November 2021 Wrap Up – Part 1
Whatever else it was, I must say that November 2021 was an amazing reading month for me. I smashed my previous personal record of 17 books in a month and read 20 books, and I couldn’t be happier with it! This is why I’m doing my November 2021 Wrap Up in 2 parts. The first part will have the first 10 books and the second will have the remaining 10 books that I read in November 2021. I’m super excited to share all of these with you because there are some absolute gems in there.
Books I Read in October 2021 | October 2021 Wrap Up
Another book list, hey! And today, it’s time for my October 2021 wrap up, in which I share with you all the books that I read in October 2021. I read 12 books, I think, including some for the Scaredy Cat Readathon, which I failed miserably at. But I’m pretty happy with that number, especially because it came during a horrid month that went all shades of bad to worse. But never mind that. November is going GREAT and I couldn’t be happier with my present reading month.
How to Get Started with Audiobooks?
My journey with audiobooks started in 2018 when I listened to Elizabeth Acevedo’s The Poet X on Storytel India. There has been no looking back since, for audiobooks have become such an important part of my life that I cannot imagine not listening to audiobooks, in whatever capacity that might be. So I thought I’d share some tips on how to get started with audiobooks, so that you can also reap the benefits of consuming stories in a way that helps you in ways that you would never think it would.
September 2021 Reading Wrap Up
My September 2021 reading wasn’t as great as my August reading, but I’m pretty happy with it. Reason being, I got to a majority of the books on my September 2021 TBR, if not got through all of them. And that, I think, is pretty nice. I spoke about all the books I read in September in my September 2021 Reading Wrap Up video that went up yesterday on my YouTube channel. I read 10 books in September 2021. While some were BAD, some were books that I absolutely enjoyed and became the month’s favorites. Basically, my September reading, as you’ll see was a mixed bag that I completely enjoyed rattling around and reading.
Romance Book Recommendations – 2021 Edition
This post was supposed to have gone up on Valentine’s Day, just like the video I made, where I talk about some romance books and recommend them to you. But as always, I got sidetracked by a number of issues, and here I am, putting this up eons after it was supposed to have gone up.
It is, I think, fitting enough that I talk about some amazing love stories that have touched me, made me cry, and sent dinosaur-sized butterflies rampaging through my stomach. Not all of the love stories are the mainstay of the books mentioned. Some of them could be subplots, but the pull these stories had for me was undeniable.
January 2021 Wrap Up – Starting and Ending the Month with Disappointments!
Oh hello, hello! I’m quite a few days late in posting this wrap up for January, but better late than never, right? That’s what I tell myself and until there’s something else that I come across that will assuage my guilt for being absent here, that’s how it’s going to be. XD
I read 10 books in January – far fewer than what I wanted to. What’s more, I started and ended the month with disappointments. Not a big fan of constantly doing this but all the other books, I loved, so I guess I can’t really complain. 😀
8 Books Every Woman Must Read | 2020 Edition
There are millions of books in the world, published day in, day out. It is hard to read every one of them in the limited lifespan that we have. But the pro of having so many books is that you never run out of books to read. There is always that one book that you have to read. It’s right there on your book list and you can’t wait to get your hands on it. Once you’re done with it, another one mysteriously emerges and thus, the cycle goes on and on.
