I don’t want to start off yet another blog post with how shitty 2022 started off, although by mentioning this, I’ve actually done what I said I wouldn’t. But it’s a big reason why my reading saw so many crests and troughs throughout the year, so it’s unavoidable, really. I’ve already spoke about how blogging went for me in 2022 (here in this blog post). Today, I’ll talk about how my reading went. I’ve been writing this blog post for what feels like decades and only now am I getting to upload it. But better late than never, right?

Recent Reads – December 2022 Edition | October & November 2022 Reading Wrap Up
If I were a little more organized, I would have made sure to have updated my October 2022 wrap up here on the blog like I did on my YouTube channel. (You can watch it here.) To be fair to myself, though, I’d just gotten off a heavy month of blogging and I guess my blogging spirit had burned out. However, the mere memory of the rush of Blogtober and the fact that I got through it, that I succeeded in posting on every day of October, puts a wide grin on my face. I had never expected that I would be able to put up 31 consecutive blog posts (33, if you include the intro and the wrap up) and to have done it has made me super happy.
So the tiredness told me that I had earned a leave of absence from here and helped me decide to combine my October 2022 wrap up with my November 2022 wrap up. I have done combined wrap ups before, so this isn’t some out of the box thing. The downside (or upside, depends on how you see it) is that there are 16 books that I need to be talking about in this blog post – 5 from October, and 11 from November. How did I end up here? We all know the answer to that! 😂
Recent Reads – October 2022 Edition | August & September 2022 Reading Wrap Up | #Blogtober22 – Day 6
I read a total of 17 books – 11 ebooks and 6 physical copies – in August and September 2022, of which 2 were DNFs. I’m pretty happy with my reading because I’ve taken to taking it easy. I’m no longer pressuring myself into wanting to read my whole TBR at once. I know it’s not possible and I know it will take time to get through the number of books that I have. It’s a freeing feeling to have and I’m hoping to continue in this vein for as long as possible.
Reading Popular BookTok Romances To Find Out If They Are Worth the Hype!
TikTok is banned in India, for whatever reason and because of this, we’re missing out on a lot of content – BookTok especially. However, I’ve also been seeing everywhere (on book Twitter especially) the discourse that BookTok can be really limiting in some ways, in the sense that they either recommend the same books overContinue reading “Reading Popular BookTok Romances To Find Out If They Are Worth the Hype!”
July 2022 Reading Wrap Up | Books I Read in July 2022!
July 2022 was the month of many changes for me. From getting news of having to move countries to yet again coming down with COVID to packing up in 3 days for the move to having a cracker of a reading month as I went through all of this – this is just a gist of how July 2022 went. There’s so much I want to share with you – videos I have in the works, blog posts I am planning to write, plans I have for my channel, the books I brought with me in the move – but all in good time. They are brewing but meanwhile, I’m here to talk about my July 2022 reading wrap up.
Recent Reads – July 2022 Edition!
After a disastrous start to the year, I’m beginning to think that I’m now slowly getting my reading mojo back, if my recent reads are anything to go by. I found a couple of favorites, one of which I’ve been raving about almost everywhere, mostly in my Favorite Authors and the Mid Year Book Freakout Tag videos. I’m still going to be a little cautious, though, because I don’t want to jinx it in any way or form. I know what could happen and I’m super wary of it.
In today’s blog post, I’ll be talking about my May 2022 and June 2022 reading wrap ups. I read 9 books in each of these months and given how I’ve given up on TBRs and also on bothering about the number of books I need to read, it went pretty well. Buckle up for a LONG blog post!
Recent Reads – April 2022 Edition!
Ever since I started my BookTube channel, I’ve been pretty consistent with posting wrap up videos. But due to what’s been going on in my life this year, I missed out on posting wrap up videos and blog posts for the first three months. To make up for it, in today’s Recent Reads blog post, I will be talking (in short) about the books I read in the month of January, February, and March 2022 – a consolidated wrap up post of sorts.
Worst Books of 2021 | Books I Didn’t Like or Was Disappointed With
Welcome to the last in my 2021 wrap up videos in which I talk about the books that I wasn’t happy with in 2021. There are 10 books in here, in chronological order as and when I read them. Let me know in the comments what you think of them and if this post helps you decide whether to pick them or stay away from them. Let’s go!
My Favorite Books of 2021 – Part 2!
Hello and welcome to part 2 of my favorite books of 2021 blog post! I split this into two parts because there are about 25 books on this list. Since I don’t like to keep things hanging, here we go with part 2. There are 11 books in here, and some of these are just *chef’s kiss*. If you haven’t read them already, I’d highly recommend you do because they’re some of the most amazing books I’ve read in 2021 as well as of all time! Let’s go!
My Favorite Books of 2021 – Part 1!
Next in my 2021 wrap up blog posts is my favorite books of 2021 list. This is one list that I usually have too much fun making but also am so conflicted by because I just can’t seem to choose. But last year, I adopted a practice where every time I loved a book, I’d automatically add it to a ‘Best Books of 2021’ worksheet in my book list workbook. It’s another matter altogether that end of the year me kind of cussed my past self out for putting the burden on her, but we ended up here. So that’s good, I think? 😛
