If I were a little more organized, I would have made sure to have updated my October 2022 wrap up here on the blog like I did on my YouTube channel. (You can watch it here.) To be fair to myself, though, I’d just gotten off a heavy month of blogging and I guess my blogging spirit had burned out. However, the mere memory of the rush of Blogtober and the fact that I got through it, that I succeeded in posting on every day of October, puts a wide grin on my face. I had never expected that I would be able to put up 31 consecutive blog posts (33, if you include the intro and the wrap up) and to have done it has made me super happy.
So the tiredness told me that I had earned a leave of absence from here and helped me decide to combine my October 2022 wrap up with my November 2022 wrap up. I have done combined wrap ups before, so this isn’t some out of the box thing. The downside (or upside, depends on how you see it) is that there are 16 books that I need to be talking about in this blog post – 5 from October, and 11 from November. How did I end up here? We all know the answer to that! 😂

Tin Man by Sarah Winman | Book Review
We’re in an age where the world has decreed that making noise is the only way to be noticed. Social media has made it easy for us to do this, even though half the time, the noise is unnecessary and on the wrong side of the line. But it’s there. And in times like these, it happens very rarely that we come across a book that’s as hard-hitting as it is quiet. And isn’t that a truth of life? That some of the most hard-hitting things in life creep up on you quietly and some of the most intensely wise people are the quiet ones. A king among these things is this book, Tin Man by Sarah Winman, a fitting, winning rhyme if ever there was one.
Recent Reads – October 2022 Edition | August & September 2022 Reading Wrap Up | #Blogtober22 – Day 6
I read a total of 17 books – 11 ebooks and 6 physical copies – in August and September 2022, of which 2 were DNFs. I’m pretty happy with my reading because I’ve taken to taking it easy. I’m no longer pressuring myself into wanting to read my whole TBR at once. I know it’s not possible and I know it will take time to get through the number of books that I have. It’s a freeing feeling to have and I’m hoping to continue in this vein for as long as possible.
July 2022 Reading Wrap Up | Books I Read in July 2022!
July 2022 was the month of many changes for me. From getting news of having to move countries to yet again coming down with COVID to packing up in 3 days for the move to having a cracker of a reading month as I went through all of this – this is just a gist of how July 2022 went. There’s so much I want to share with you – videos I have in the works, blog posts I am planning to write, plans I have for my channel, the books I brought with me in the move – but all in good time. They are brewing but meanwhile, I’m here to talk about my July 2022 reading wrap up.
Recent Reads – July 2022 Edition!
After a disastrous start to the year, I’m beginning to think that I’m now slowly getting my reading mojo back, if my recent reads are anything to go by. I found a couple of favorites, one of which I’ve been raving about almost everywhere, mostly in my Favorite Authors and the Mid Year Book Freakout Tag videos. I’m still going to be a little cautious, though, because I don’t want to jinx it in any way or form. I know what could happen and I’m super wary of it.
In today’s blog post, I’ll be talking about my May 2022 and June 2022 reading wrap ups. I read 9 books in each of these months and given how I’ve given up on TBRs and also on bothering about the number of books I need to read, it went pretty well. Buckle up for a LONG blog post!
Recent Reads – April 2022 Edition!
Ever since I started my BookTube channel, I’ve been pretty consistent with posting wrap up videos. But due to what’s been going on in my life this year, I missed out on posting wrap up videos and blog posts for the first three months. To make up for it, in today’s Recent Reads blog post, I will be talking (in short) about the books I read in the month of January, February, and March 2022 – a consolidated wrap up post of sorts.
